This tail skid has been tested on aircraft in the jungles of Guyana on a Cessna single engine aircraft! Now we're bringing it out to the Zenith Aircraft enthusiasts! This is for those of you that are using your aircraft to its fullest capabilities in short field landing and take-offs. The aircraft touches the rudder before it touches the tie down ring, so this is also for a builder that just doesn't want his rudder all bent up!
Installation Instructions:
Step 1:
Remove the existing tie-down ring.
Step 2:
Place tail skid in the same spot as the tie-down ring. Screw the bolt through the hole in the tail skid and the tie-down ring hole. Now tighten the Nut.
