This Battery Box Assembly Kit provides you with a very nice box that can hold your Odyssey PC 680, Earth X ETX680C, Rotax 966260, Rotax 966265, or Dakota Lithium batteries on your firewall.  


Please Note: The battery is NOT included. Although this battery box was made specifically for the PC 680, you may purchase a battery of your choice. We add two spacers and longer bolts to fit any of the above batteries. The angle on the top just needs to be placed lower down to match the shorter batteries.

NOTE: Our battery box fits the ROTAX 966265 or EarthX ETX680C battery with a spacer block on each side and the longer bolts provided. It also fits the ROTAX 966260 or Odyssey Extreme PC680, and Dakota Lithium DL+   with no spacers and the short bolts provided. 

​The inside dimensions are 6.5" tall x 7" wide by 3.5" deep. Install longer bolts (supplied) to make 4" deep.

​INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1:

​Layout battery box on firewall as shown below. 
Remember to space 2" from the side of the center structure.

STEP 2:

Install A5 rivets from the aft side of the firewall in 6 places to hold the battery hold down angle in position for the Odyssey Battery. 

NOTE: This angle is moved lower down for shorter batteries and held on with A4 rivets. You must install it to fit your battery height.  
​Locate the hole in such a position as to give direct access for a screwdriver to reach the upper left fastener on the fuel pump box. This is NOT applicable for exposed fuel pumps.
​Install the battery support strap and tighten it.
