This Fuel Pump-to-Firewall Mounting Kit includes all the hardware to mount the electric fuel pumps to the firewall. It is for EXPOSED PUMPS ONLY and has all the fittings required to plumb them together.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Layout on Firewall
Layout on the firewall the two holes shown on a diagonal line below.
NOTE: Place fuel pump assembly in place before drilling to verify there is no interference with the battery box and the inside edge of the diagonal brace.

STEP 2:
Assemble the fuel pumps with the fittings provided to look like the picture below.
NOTE: The direction of the pumps and the direction of the one way valves (THIS IS CRITICAL).
Place the clamps provided with your pumps over the pumps as shown, and lock wire the clamps in the closed position as if there was a bolt in them.

Place the pumps in position with the two corresponding clamps over the marked holes. Verify there is space between the battery box and the pump assembly. Relocate it if needed but, ensure it remains on the diagonal line. You will be able to slide the upper adel clamps as required to get the optimal fit.
NOTE: The picture above shows the two holes drilled, please ensure that you first fit the pumps before drilling as per Step 1.

STEP 3:
Drill the two marked or relocated holes to 1/4". Place AN4-6A bolts in them and position the remaining two clamps as shown above. Mark for the two holes required. Remove pumps and drill holes to 1/4". Deburr all holes.
Place AN4-5A bolts in the other two holes and position pumps in place on the firewall. Install (AN960-416 small diameter) washers on the bolts running through the diagonals and the Large penny washers on the other two bolts with the fiber lock nuts. Remove lock wire, tighten this assembly to your fire wall.
Verify all connections to the pump assembly are tight.
Place AN4-5A bolts in the other two holes and position pumps in place on the firewall. Install (AN960-416 small diameter) washers on the bolts running through the diagonals and the Large penny washers on the other two bolts with the fiber lock nuts. Remove lock wire, tighten this assembly to your fire wall.
Verify all connections to the pump assembly are tight.
